Article from the paper ‘De Volksstem' published on 23/6/1925. It says that Kamiel Peiffer was working on his ship when someone came to tell him that a body was floating at the shipyard of Boel and Sons. He rowed over there with a small boat and discovered that is was the body of his son, Albert. The boy was missing since Sunday. The body was transferred to the morgue.

One of the last steam ships; The Wilford V.
300 people were invited to travel on Sunday 14/3/1903 to Hansweerd (Holland). The ship was built in Rotterdam. The machine has 350 HP (horse power) and sails 10 knots an hour. Wine was offered to the guests in the beautiful drawing room.
