    • Millie Mae Medjed, born December 27, 1931 in Akron, Ohio, passed away on February 16, 2010 at Akron City Hospital.

      Millie graduated from East High School and attended classes at The University of Akron. She was a generous and caring person. She loved reading and spending time with her family. Millie retired from Roadway Express with 33 years of service.

      Preceded in death by parents, Marco and Mildred Medjed; brothers, Branko and Marko; sister, Dorothy Pape; brother-in-law, Richard Wright; she is survived by brother, Samuel Medjed and Dorothy Smith; sisters, Sally Gay and Ann Wright; nieces and nephews, Mike and Sandy Gay, Julie and Tim Miller, Kellie and Bob Toth; also, great-niece and nephew, Melanie and Steven Gay.

      There will be no calling hours and a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice or St. Archangel Michael Church fund, 2552 Pickle Rd., Akron, OH 44312.
