      Passed in: British Columbia, Canada

MARCEL JOSEPH DECAP September 19, 1926 - January 15, 2009 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our wonderful husband, father, papa, uncle and friend. He leaves to cherish his memory Estelle, his loving wife oof 56 years, his two sons, Gilbert (Gina), Richard (Lori) and five grandchildren Patrick (Shelley), Scott (Nadine), Matthew (Goda), Shannon and Emma. He is also survived by his brothers Maurice and George (Linda) and sisters Alice Verhelst, Julilie Wilson, Madeline Hicks and numerous nieces and nephews. Marcel was born in Lafleche, Saskatchewan and grew up on the family farm in Fir Mountain. He was employed at many different jobs like driving truck, farming and working in a locker plannt before he found his true vocation as an expert painter. When he was 20 years old he made his first trip to B.C. with his brother Camille where he worked for a few years. He returned to Saskatchewan where he met and married his soulmate Estellle on October 1, 1952. In 1959 he moved his family to Kamloops where they have resided since that time. Dad worked as a contract painter for Summers Color Center for 10 years before going to work for the B.C. Government. He retired early and then set up his own painting business.
