  Papers seem to indicate that Eli Sukunda owned St. Clair's Tavern (https://www.myheritage.com/research/record-90100-471368626/sessional-papers-of-ontario-parliament-on-canada-vol4). This seems consistent with Daisy Chakara marrying an Eli and migrating to Canada. This in turn provides evidence that he was Eli Sukunda's (the fencer) father as Eli was born one year after the paper linked is published. "My husband says that when his dad Eli died, the family found some paperwork indicating that he was born September 6 of 1904? (No real way of knowing).
